Tim Zeug and I remodeled our own kitchen. (We were living in my mother’s building, so she was very happy). We did 100% all the work ourselves. Below is before and afters and some BTS work in progress. The building was originally from the 1920s but had a horrible remodel job in the 70s. We wanted to restore it to its original style. We used all real materials, cutting the tiles, and Tim custom built all the cupboards. (No Home Depot off the shelf stuff!)

Tim tore out unnecessary soffits and discovered the kitchen window was originally twice the size!  Kitchen was lighter and airier, and had twice the cupboard space.
