These are from a past life, a long, long time ago, but I used to do comics and be published by Fantagraphics, and I’m still proud of that! (My maiden name was Emilie Harvey).

This is just a sampling of pages, and all before I decided to go back to school (I was an “older” student at Otis Parson and UCLA).  So my drawing got better.  But still crazy thinking about all that hand lettering, even if it’s not perfect!

“Letters to London” and the various “Letters” series, are all  autobiographical from a time I hitchhiked with a friend from Amsterdam to Berlin.  I also lived in London for a few years, and my best friend and I were avid letter writers.
